Memory Care

Since 2006 MeadowView Memory Care has been the innovative leader in offering a unique option for those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s. Our passion is to offer a program that helps someone living with dementia thrive despite their disease. Every detail of MeadowView Memory Care is planned and designed to assist a person with memory impairment, by easing the stress and frustration that can occur, by offering freedom of movement and purposeful spaces for residents to enjoy. We provide a safe and secure sense of “home.”

Two distinct neighborhoods comprised of private units in each neighborhood connect to our Experiential Centre. Neighborhoods contain color and visual cues, whirlpool baths, and quiet living rooms.

All 34 units are unfurnished, have large windows, and private baths. Some units may accommodate a couple by offering a passing door between two rooms. Our Experiential Centre incorporates purposeful spaces that tenants recognize and can associate with their long-term memories. This provides freedom of movement, physical and cognitive engagement and encourages socialization. All these features are proven to help someone living with memory loss.
